Fish of the day we fantastic -- sea bass was tender and cooked to perfection. And the crispy potatoes that accompanied the fish were great. Cappuccinos were good and the Ginger Spritz was delicious! Chicken cesaer salad was good though the cesaer dressing tasted like American ranch - really needed anchovies and pepper to be cesaer. But the chicken in it was cooked very well and juicy. The fried buratta with carpaccio was okay. The gnocchi left much to be desired - watery sauce with an off-putting smell. Great location for anything near the Vatican. Great service and loved outdoor seating with a fan and indoor seating with ac.

Drinks + cheese were good. Service was BAD. We got there at 5:30 and specifically asked if they had truffle pasta. The hosts showed us a special truffle menu but told us the kitchen opens at 7 so we have to wait, ok sure. No one was there yet and the host asked us where we wanted to sit. We chose a table but they set us up in another table that was too warm near the heaters. We asked them to transfer us to where we asked for in the first place. They acted like it was such a hassle to setup the table (we were only a party of 2) but again, NO ONE was even there? They first refused saying the table was reserved but the one we wanted was clearly not reserved so after much hesitation they reset our table.. why that was so hard, I don’t know. Maybe because we’re tourists? Anyway, we decided to have drinks and cheese first. When the kitchen opened, we asked for the truffle pasta. Waiter said, truffle menu is done. What the hell? I asked him to check again because the hosts showed us a truffle menu that we SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR and WAITED AN HOUR FOR. Of course he made a face and got back to us with the regular menu and said truffle menu is done. We left. This place was a waste of time. It was an expensive hour wait for something they couldn’t even deliver. It was our last night in Rome and they ruined it. Don’t be fooled by the pretty lights like us.

The energy in this restaurant was upscale and friendly. I had reservations for dinner on a Friday night and I recommend making them because there was a waiting period. I was seated at a quaint table facing the bar and the service from the staff was consistent and timely. I ordered house made cod stuffed gnocchi with clams and an Italian 75. The portion was spot on and the flavors were delicious and elevated. My beverage, the Italian 75, was a great pair with my meal. Our waiter, Sergio, was fantastic and very knowledgeable with the entire menu. I love this area of Rome and will be returning to this establishment.

Went here for dinner during our short trip to Rome. The food and service were fabulous. I tried (ordered by our group) the eggplant parmigiana, the peach and greenbean salad, roasted potatoes, and the carbonara. It was all excellent. While the hostesses seemed a bit standoffish (just body language), the waitress and bussers were so kind that we quickly were comfortable and happily eating. They also actually brought the check fairly quickly once we asked for it. We all loved the food and would happily return. We arrived quite tired and a bit grouchy after a very long day, and left happy and satisfied.

The food was decent but definitely not the quality of almost everywhere else around there. The bread wasn't very good either and for something they charge everytime they bring it to you I would expect it to be good, a good portion of our bill was bread since they don't tell you they charge for every single bucket (Yes, the bread comes in a metal bucket). My biggest problem here is they didn't seem to care much about foreigners, our waiter and the person helping him had a constant scowl upon their faces. I would suggest avoiding this place even if you live in Rome.

The shellfish salad was very good. It was nicely presented with fresh baby tomatoes and 5 large prawns. The seafood platter for 2 was very disappointing. Canned anchovies, canned tuna, and lox in a nice arrangement on a tiered platter. We just saw those items at the grocery store an hour earlier, no chef required. Expensive canned food to be sure. Could not help noticing the people next to us were not happy with their pasta dishes either. Unfortunate, good service and I see potential but there are terrible inconsistencies in quality.
