I LOVE PIADINA — Restaurant in Salerno

Four years ago now I went there and still thinking of this place, they were very very nice staff plus fresh delicious food. We were exhausted from driving and arrived during siesta, the streets were empty and nowhere else would let us order. Thankfully the other restaurants rudeness led us to this lovely place. The staff here wanted me to see their zucchini flowers being prepared in the kitchen since it’s very seasonal and it’s exciting when the flowers are ready. Not too good. We were rushed to choose something to drink. The owner was was very gentle but he was suggesting lots of things, as he saw we were tourists, that I accepted as it's the first time I go there plus my order of a cassino that I didn't like and my husband ordered a piadina, he wasn't very impressed. And he suggested that I try the Buffala mozzarella that was fresh and it was a big ball on a plate. We were two and we had food for 4. The piadinas are not just tasty; they use top-quality ingredients. I recommend trying the crocche with a gooey cheese center and arancini.
