A traditional Tuscan osteria tucked away in the heart of San Gimignano. The setting was beautiful with white tablecloths and flowers on every table, giving it a charming and classic feel.
The service was decent, though not outstanding. We had a short wait for menus despite being one of only two groups there when it opened, and later it took a while to get our bill and a takeaway container.
The food was good quality, with handmade pici that was perfectly cooked. I ordered the Pici all’Aglione—a very traditional Tuscan garlic pasta. Truffle pasta was incredibly amazing, absolutely must eat. My trippa stew felt no taste at first but I could enjoy deep umami flavor...
