The most terrible experience in a long while, we actually left the restaurant before the food arrived first time ever. It seems popular so we made a reservation and were 10 minutes late to it ( parking is nearly impossible, donât bring a car). I came with my 2 kids while my husband was looking to park. We were greeted and seated by a great host, very friendly and polite, thanks to him because this is where the service disappeared. 15 minutes later, we still had nobody even bringing the menus. Iâm sitting with 2 kids in the middle of a very busy restaurant ( good for them) and being completely ignored. I understand they are busy but itâs impossible to even catch someoneâs eye. My husband came and another 10 minutes later our waitress finally coming over with the menu. We asked her to give us 5 minutes to look at the menu before ordering. Another 10 minutes later we finally are able to order. Another 15 minutes later not even a wine is at our table. At this point, me and kids have been at the restaurant for 50 minutes. My younger kid is asleep now. My husband says that at this rate we will get a parking ticket as well, and we decide to leave. We tried to catch our waitress to ask her to cancel the order and offered to pay for the coperto. She asks why but nothing is really offered in a way of even an apology.    Read moreExcellent food and very hard-working staff can be found in the Restaurant La Sciamadda dei Vinaccieri Ballerini in Sestri Levante. Nevertheless, I would like to take the time today to write a review on the table reservation.
On 28.09.2019 I wanted to book a table for two persons in the afternoon for the said Restaurant for the evening. This was also done directly by the director, see photo -. I pointed out that I am a smoker and in consideration of the other guests I wish a table in the back area. The promise was made and they offered me a table for the 19:30 clock.
In the evening at the agreed time, however, I had to realize that the desired table had been allocated elsewhere and I had been offered a place in the central area. This annoyed me, of course, because I wanted a place on the sidelines in consideration of the other guests. The Restaurant management seemed that, but it simply didnât matter.
Without wanting to be going way out on a limb, I would like to say that such specific wishes are taken more seriously among native Italian guests than by a German tourist. So other reserved places remained on the edge over hours and were not occupied in the meantime.
I would like to pay more attention to the needs of customers and to meet each customer at the same level. Running a Restaurant requires much more than serving a good food. The social aspect is also very important.

The restaurant is traditionalđœïž,like is cuisine. In the middle of different changes regarding the food,sometimes,as an Italian, it is nice to come back "al riparo" into these kind of places when the storm is about to come.
Service is warm,as every good "primo" served in the restaurant, and if you're in doubt the waiters can help you to understand your need s and point the best way to follow
