Ristorante Bar La Favorita — Restaurant in Siena

[English] one of the worst experiences in my life. Bad service, worse food, with no food options. We went in expecting pizza or pasta as part of a very large group with a travel agency - instead, we found "fish" with no taste, cold "grilled" vegetables and dessert directly from the supermarket. However, the worst thing was the service.

We had to wait at least 15 minutes for a dish for a lactose and egg-intolerant person, while the whole table was already served. Worse of all, the dish arrived cold, and with a boiled egg. The water at the table was hot, and when we asked for a little bit of ice the waitress was extremely rude, mocking us. The main dish was a deep fried fish with no taste. On top of that, the dish was too little.

However, the worst was yet to come. The dessert wasn't homemade, it was still frozen and served without care for the costumer. We requested a change for my parents, an old couple, as they wanted some fruit or something without sugar; a very rude waiter told us that no changes were allowed unless you have an allergy or intolerance.

The whole group (almost 30 people) was very disappointed with the experience. Not...

The restaurant is very well located, but the service is messy, as I’ve order for antipasti, drinks and means. The drinks never showed up, the antipasti order to be delivered before the main dishes, arrives together with the meals. I’ve asked 3 times for the drinks, but no solution, olive oil, I’ve to pick up by myself. The meal looks ok. In the check out after my request the cost for the drinks was removed, but the manger refused to exclude the “Coperto” some small value that mean a kind of tips to seat in the table, it not a Italian way, the manager probably is a worse boss that doesn’t have any level of competence to work with consumers/clients. Worst experience ever, DONT GO THERE! Late delivery, wrong dish, bad service! We went there for lunch. After we sat, the waiter came to get the order. The food took an eternity to arrive. Our order was definitely deprioritised versus the orders of the other italians around. It was so obvious that it was the case because the table on our right ordered the same dish as I did and even though they arrived way after us they got their food before us. My partner's risotto came wrong. They delivered something very different from the menu. After we complained the waiter did little to correct. not coming back and wish they go out of business so other clients don't suffer the same...
