Food was decent and service was good until the end.. the prices mysteriously changed and we were overcharged and charged for lemoncello that was seemingly offered. They took it off the bill in the end. Before leaving I had left a small tip (still waiting for the other two guests to leave something) and our waiter turned from friendly to demanding.. “at least a 10% tip after everything we offered you!!” (They gave us a focaccia with some tomatoes and a free tiramisu.. all without asking). We left him more tip in the end because he was so aggressive. Not realising until later that we were actually overcharged for the pasta and fish we got. Seriously?? We came in hoping to enjoy a meal for three, but were immediately told we couldn't eat unless we ordered drinks. Since when are customers forced to order beverages just to be served food?
The staff was extremely condescending, and we could hear them talking about us behind our backs — totally unprofessional. The way they looked at us and treated us with disrespect was honestly shocking.
