Let me be bluntly honest here: I am the type of guy you can tell from a mile that they are not likely to spend (big) money on jewellery. And I am sure that every boutique owner can read that immediately. This makes my interaction with Cristian, the shop owner, even more special: humane and genuine as there was no need or room for sales tricks. He was kind, warm and down to earth with me and my lady. He took his time to show us around, talk about the tools and techniques they use, tell us stories about his life and career. We spent more than 1h but less than 100 euros there, if you see my point.

The cameos are beautiful and the art and technique are exquisite. But I don’t write this review to tell you that, you can tell it yourselves even from outside the shop.

On May 22, 2024, my wife reached the selling price for a statue, as shown in this photo. I went to the ATM to get the Euro so I could pay in cash for my wedding anniversary gift to my wfe. When I was counting the money to the salesperson who claimed to be the 4th generation owner at the store, his brother dressed in black came in to ask for 2000 Euro more for the piece!! I refused to encourage an unethical tactic by this store to get more money from me. The Good Guy / Bad Guy routine to renegotiate after an agreement was reached is unprofessional. This is a place you must visit while in Sorrento! I phad a lovely time talking with the owner who went put of his way to make this a special experience. He treats you like an old friend or family member when you are there. His son taught me about the art of making cameos and he is very personable also.

The work in this shop is stunning. Your purchase will transport you back to Sorrento every time you look at it and it will personify the passion and heart that went into making each work of art.
