Anyone that looks at my reviews we see that I’ve never left her review this low. The ambience is fantastic! We put in our order all at once. The appetizer came out which was OK. I had forgotten to put in my son‘s pizza so I ordered that separately which came out almost immediately. The problem started there. After another 20 minutes of waiting for the rest of the food for the other five people Somebody came over and said that it shouldn’t be too long. After another almost 10 minutes, my mom stopped at the original server and asked where our food was, and he said he would check on it. At this point, several other large parties were seated around us and had already had their food brought out. Our food started to trickle out. The pizzas were OK. My sister liked her ravioli. I had the swordfish and prawns. The swordfish was very tough. You can see with the two pictures what I received and how much I left at the end of the meal. Which was almost the entire thing. The food was OK in general, but the service and the issues with getting our food out were not good. It may have been an off night so try it yourself. But for us, it was...

The service was really good; our waiter was pretty much on point when it came to service (he even brought an extra chair to our table for my hat, which I thought was nice).

But the food? Ordered a Neapolitan platter, margherita pizza and spaghetti alla matriciana. The platter was extremely underwhelming; it reminded me of deep fried chicken balls and egg rolls you would find in a Chinese food court restaurant. It was also incredibly greasy. The pizza was disappointing, as either the crust was too thin or there was too much sauce because it was falling apart and soggy in the center (though the outer crust was nice and crispy). The spaghetti had no flavor at all; my spaghetti just tasted like noodles even though it was covered in sauce, which was a let down because the sauce description made me decide to order this particular entree.

It could have been that we ordered items that were maybe not the best from the restaurant; maybe we went during an "off time"; however, if we ever return to Sorrento we will not be revisiting this place. For the price of the food, you're better to...

I take no pleasure in writing a negative review, but the quality of food we experienced requires comment.

We ordered two starters and two main courses, and unfortunately, none of the dishes were satisfactory.

The taste of both starters was disappointing; the octopus was severely overcooked and lacked any hint of freshness, while my wife's zucchini flower entrée was equally underwhelming.

At that point, we wanted to leave, but our mains arrived too quickly for us to react.

My wife ordered the sea bass, but after just one bite, she left the rest untouched. Thankfully, the staff was kind enough to credit it. I had the risotto, but it did not meet expectations either.

To make matters worse, we both felt unwell after the meal.

Overall, it was not an enjoyable experience.

The only positive note was the polite and understanding staff, but sadly, the food left much...

The restaurant is up a flight of steps, on a rooftop terrace overlooking a narrow street. It had real taplecloths and napkins, not the disposable paper that you see so often these days. The menu was extensive and suited all tastes, although being in Sorrento, there was of course more seafood than meat. Service was more than just friendly, we were quickly supplied with water and bread while we chose from the menu, and our server spoke excellent English and joked about the weather! Suffice to say, the timing of the service was also excellent - if we had to wait while the food was prepared, it didn't seem like it, and we didn't feel pressured to eat up and go to get the next customers in. The wine list was as good as the menu choices, and after the meal we had coffees, and were served a complimentary Limoncello. All in all, a great experience I'm happy to recommend.

My fiance and I visited this restaurant on the last day of our holiday to Sorrento and it didn't disappoint! I hadn't had a single pizza since I started our week long holiday there (as I can't stomach gluten/wheat well) so when I found out they do gluten-free pizzas, I was so happy! You would think it was a normal pizza as it was the same size as my fiance's and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and they had a duet couple singing different songs all night. The place itself is situated along one of the many narrow streets so doesn't look like much at a glance but as it's set up on a terrace with beautiful vines and flowers and lights, it's really romantic for couples especially. If you are visiting Sorrento, I would highly recommend booking a table and enjoying a meal there (and it's perfect for coeliacs/gluten-free) x
