Very disappointed about salad and sandwich. The tomatoes salad was plain and the bun was dry, not fresh and kind of rubbery. When asked how we liked the food, we were honest and complained about the salad and bun. The waiter did not try to compensate our negative experience at all, moreover, he was trying to proof us that the bun is fresh, and kind of “Sicilian” ciabatta. This is our go to bar at Ortigia. (My apologies if I misspell the team’s names. Fault is all mine.) Edoardo gave us the best recommendations and suggestions on local drinks and aperitifs. We had the most reviving and interesting amaro / nepeta / Etna and classic spritzs here, as well as really good seafood to accompany the drinks. DADA quickly became our favorite spot in Ortigia! The restaurant was just starting back up after being closed for a few weeks so they didn’t have their full menu yet.
