We love this restaurant so much that we had dinner two nights in a row. It is a family run business. Francesca, the owner, was great and very helpful. She designed the restaurant interior, which is a gorgeously minimal one. Just check the decor on both walls on the right and left as soon as you get in. The ceiling color is quite nice too and is in harmony with the rest of the design. Regarding the food, which of course is the most important note here, I had Spaghetti Carbonara with Pistachio cream and it was heavenly delicious! The spaghetti was cooked to perfection as I was able to feel the texture in my mouth, which I expected to be like that. The second day, I had Entrecote and I can still remember the taste :-) I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo... sorry for that :-/ People with me, tried the tuna fish, grilled octopus and seafood linguini and they were mesmerized. I strongly recommend that anyone try this family run restaurant and you would be surprised on the quality and experience. Enjoy your food... bon appétit......

This is so far the highlight of my vacation. The spot is small and cozy with nice slow music in the background. The only thing I regret is that I didn't come here hungrier so I could try more off the menu. First of, my Aperol Spritz was nicely balanced, not too sweet not too bitter, even my beer drinking partner liked it. We only had secundi. Tuna and sardines. Even though both were heaven sent, nicely balanced and just amazing dishes, the onion that came with tuna was just magnificent. After that we shared a lava cake for dessert. I am a sucker for a good chocolate cake and even my partner who is not big on sweets liked it a lot. The outside was nice and just firm enough to crunch under a spoon and reveal the lovely gooey goodness. I wish I stayed here longer so I could come back, but i am already very pleased that I got to try this at least once. I cannot...

A hidden gem we stumbled on by mistake late on a weekday night when we hadn’t made reservations and couldn’t find a table in the area. The service was friendly and efficient, the food fresh and tasty. We had the risotto with shrimp, the giant beef and cherry tomato ravioli and a veal dish all of which were were flavorful and cooked to perfection. We have visited many restaurants during our short stay in Siracusa but this one (which the owners - a husband and wife team told us had been operating for merely a year!) stood out in terms of quality, value for money and an elegant, yet non pretentious laid back ambiance. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Siracusa. We will be back for another meal if...

This place was exceptional at all levels: the food, the service, the atmosphere. All excellent. We had an amazing starter with shrimp tartar on ricotta cream with black pepper — heavenly! The work of a chef who cares deeply about preparing something unique! All of our food had his personal touch. Fantastic. I would note also our very kind and knowledgeable server — the chef’s spouse! She, of course, knew the foods well — and the wines. This restaurant definitely deserves a visit. There is nothing “standard” or touristy about what you will experience. (EDIT: I forgot to add something about the homemade bread. Delicious, and unique. And my risotto dish. I eat a lot of risotto— this was a great one.)
