This Osteria has a Handicap:
It is not located in the City Center.
But you can reach it from TAORMINA City Center when walking over the streets when going down the hill from CORSO UMBERTO,Via Ospedale to PORTA CATANIA PARKING.
There you take the elevator/lift to floor 1. There you exit and walk on the street down the hill.
After about 500 Meter you will reach the Osteria.
But be careful on the street. There are no pedestrian ways!
The best alternative way is to reach it by TAXI/CAR.
But it is always worth a visit.
It has several more advantages.
We were happy to return after two years.
SANTI is the Co-Owner who has served us in a - like always- perfect way.
Here you will find a perfect choice of fine wines at affordable prices.
Today we ordered Red Wine: DRUS, Nero d' AVOLA of perfect taste at an unbeatable price of 30 €.
The Pasta alla Norma was of perfect taste charged with 12 €.
My PIZZA with big prawns was charged with 15 € and of good taste as well.
Nowhere you will find a more extensive choice of PIZZE than here! And I guess nowhere you will find a better price.
So this is the best solution and destination for Pizza Lovers as well as for Fish Lovers.
Credit cards will be accepted.

Read moreAuthentic and tasty Sicilian food. We had cooked cozze and vongole mussles ins tasty sauce. Backed Zucchini flowers filled with cheese and anchovies. Involtini Di Spada, sword fish rolls filled with Sicilian panade and from the grill. My Linguine with half a lobster, linguine al Astice, were very tasty. Very friendly service with good English. The chef stored our bag with two bottles in the fridge, so we had a cold refreshing drink back at home. Well the white wine recommend was much better! Tornatore Etna Bianca. Also the pizza looked and smelled gorgeous, will try it next time. Thanks! PS: from the main Street pedestrian zone, you can take the elevator in the parking, from ther just...
Read moreThis lovely restaurant off the beaten path of Taormina is a diamond in the rough. We ended up going twice since we loved it so much! The food, service, and ambience were the best we found in Taormina. The pizzas had the perfect thin crust crunch with delicious and fresh tomato sauce and toppings. The pasta alla norma was to die for and we really enjoyed the seafood couscous as a change to what we had been ordering all trip. Great value for the amount and quality of food you get. If you try to walk there from Taormina central, I would recommend going through the parking garage as it will give you a short cut and is safer than walking on the...
