Siculishh — Restaurant in Taormina

We visited Siculishh yesterday and had a really nice experience. We chose a menu with antipasti, primi, and secondi, followed by a cheese platter. With the food, we opted for a wine menu of four wines, which the staff carefully selected to match our dishes.

The food was tasty and well-prepared, and the wines complemented it nicely. It was especially interesting that the wines were local, and we were given small stories about their origins and characteristics. The staff showed good knowledge and were clearly engaged in both the food and wine, which made the experience feel more complete.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was welcoming and attentive. We experienced a high level of professionalism without it feeling formal or distant. Compared to many other places in Taormina, Siculishh seemed more focused on quality rather than catering to a broad tourist crowd – something we really appreciated.

All in all, it was a good evening where food, wine, and service came together nicely. We’re glad we stopped by and can definitely recommend the restaurant to others looking for a more refined dining experience...

I took my girlfriend here for a date night and the experience was just fantastic So great in fact that my whole family came back the next day.

The atmosphere is laid back and cool. The service is incredibly friendly and spoke impeccable English for us. We ordered the "tasting", which in hindsight is a must. Essentially they bring you what the chef/sommelier recommends, so long as you approve of it. We picked two courses paired with one wine per course.

The food was all exceptional with the gazpacho being a standout. All the wines, which were local and picked by the sommelier, paired so well with the food it was incredible. A real treat for the senses.

When my family returned the next day we did not do the tastings and, while everything was excellent, our choice of wine did not pair as well as the house's. This is why I recommend the tasting option on the menu.

My favorite restaurant in all of Taormina! My husband and I had an amazing experience at Siculishh. The chef Gabriele made us feel so welcome and hand picked each bottle of wine to pair with our tasting menu. The wine was some of the best I ever had. It really made me appreciate the taste of the food and how the wine complimented each bite. I have food allergies to dairy, nuts and sesame and Gabriele and the staff was able to accommodate and create a customized menu for me! I’ve never had that treatment before and I was blown away. The eggplant caponata was the best I’ve ever had and I’m still thinking about it to this day. They were even able to make dairy free ravioli for me stuffed with delicious fish with a light tomato sauce. The baccalà dish with the couscous was extremely flavorful.
