I have been here before & it was fairly good but tonight was my last time .. as a women dining alone I was given a terrible table & told they were fully booked..not true .. the entire time I was there .. 1hour only a few tables came in & the small tables in along the canal remained empty.. all pasta homemade said the menu., apparently not the Carbonara .. plus it was not al dente is was hard & not cooked so I asked for another with homemade pasta.. it came out undercooked & hard again & not al dente but I was not going to complain again I was getting weary .. never was I asked if I wanted another glass of wine.. &!when I went to the ladies room my table was cleared & reset ..I was a little upset then & offered a lemoncello of caffe .. too little too late .. the guy at the cash that earlier told me they were fully booked when I told him the service & food was very poor just & smiled & thanked me & said good night .. I dont like giving bad reviews but this restaurant has a prime & beautiful location but the food & service dont match up .. I am sure no local people eat here or Italians are not cooking in the kitchen .. such a pity .. so much potential.. its just for tourists who dont know much about Italian food .. beware ! 2 stars for the...

We all ordered pasta, but it was very dry, with just a small amount of sauce on top, and no Parmesan was offered. The carbonara had a surprisingly bitter taste, and the salads weren’t really salads — just plain vegetables mixed in a bowl without any dressing.
On top of that, we were charged a €12 service fee for 3 people. During our 3-day stay in Italy, this was the only place that charged such a high fee. The waitress came to our table only twice, probably because the focus was on the guests sitting outside (we were seated indoors). Bella esperienza! Personale preparato e piatti squisiti 🍲 ma è la location a rubare la scena.
Per i mesi caldi, consiglio un pranzo all’esterno 🌞, prenotando sotto i portici per godersi lo scorcio mozzafiato sul fiume, il Cagnan Grande e il Mulino ad acqua Ponte San Francesco 🏞️, un gioiello di ingegneria idraulica.
La cena, invece, è perfetta all’interno durante i mesi freddi ❄️, tra le mura di un palazzo storico dove eleganza e dettagli come candelabri argentati con candele vere accese 🕯️ creano un’atmosfera romantica.
Il menu, sia del giorno che alla carta, è ben curato e ricco, con una selezione di amari da esplorare 🥃.
Puoi scegliere il tavolo in sale diverse, una ampia centrale per chi ama la vista al bancone cocktail e più movimento e rumore attorno. Fossi venuto con una compagnia di amici avrei scelto questo posto. Le altre sale sono più tranquille e riservate che trovo più adatte per una serata in coppia o quando cerchi meno confusione in generale. I camerieri sono pronti, attenti e molto gentili.
La storia del luogo aggiunge un fascino unico collegandosi a figure storiche come il conte Tita Rinaldi (1768-1865), ha lasciato il nome ad alcuni palazzi come quello del vicino Comune e alla via del ristorante stesso, una figura emblematica della Treviso dell’Ottocento, spesso paragonato al “marchese del Grillo” per le sue storiche burle e anche per i suoi generosi risarcimenti alle immancabili vittime.
Il ristorante prende il nome dalla “colonnetta” effettivamente presente in una antica sala da pranzo, ora inglobata da un altro locale accanto visto un cambiamento della pianta del locale.
Se il registra giapponese Hayao Miyazaki avesse preso ispirazione da uno scorcio di città come questo non mi sarei per nulla sorpreso visti i dettagli, il verde, la ruota del mulino, i fiori nei balconi, i portici e le suggestioni dei dettagli di una città medioevale. Un turista non può mancare una tappa come questa.
In conclusione, è il posto ideale per qualsiasi occasione, che sia un evento romantico, una riunione di amici o una gita in famiglia dove suggerirei l’esterno perché i bambini possono curiosare nelle vicinanze senza grossi problemi di traffico o pericoli.
