If you are looking for the best cocktail bar in town, well you have just entered one. The historic place opened in 1919 and it has preserved all its antique taste. Classic Torinese style, with wooden chairs, crystals shelves and liberty bar. Not only, recent new management has introduced contemporary twist to the menu and young titled owners are ready to suggest the right cocktail, for the right moment. The place architecture is worth the visit, the cocktails will delight your palate, but just remember one little detail. If you're wondering where's the lou, well don't. As the weather broke and the rain started Paulicarus decided to pop in here. Indoor corner cafe with pavement seating. An amazing architecture. Beautiful. The lovely lady behind the bar served Paulicarus with a large beer from Barcelona of all places plus a white wine.Oddly there is NO toilet...so cannot be an all night venue!! ( maybe regretting a big beer on a wet night.) Huge selection of spirits in glass display cabinets.) Some nice looking cakes...so had two coffees and 4 small petit four sized cakes..( one definitely a mini Sachet Torte).a good evening meal to go with barley soup. Americano referred to as " everyday coffee." Could have stayed longer but for......!!!! You can guess.20.5€...

Me and my friends came here on our day trip to Trieste and we wanted to try the local coffee. We found this spot and we were not disappointed! The lady (I’m not sure of her name) was so helpful and nice. I asked her to recommend me what the locals would normally drink, and she gave me a ‘Capo in B’ which was delicious.
