Buffet L'Approdo — Restaurant in Trieste

ITA. Sono stato in questo locale in data 29/11/2022 (ore 12:30) con mio figlio di 3 mesi in passeggino ed un amico per prendere un aperitivo (polpetta e birra piccola). Il titolare, o presunto tale, intimava ripetutamente di spostarci perché il passeggino "occupava" troppo spazio dentro al locale. Faccio presente che, contemporaneamente alla nostra visita, erano presenti un altro passeggino presso l'entrata ed un signora in carrozzella di fronte l'uscita del bancone, singolare come fossimo gli unici a cui veniva chiesto di spostarci. Oltre al fatto di aver aspettato 13' per fare una semplice ordinazione, il signore ci chiedeva, in malo modo e sbuffando, di spostarci. All'ennesima richiesta decidiamo di uscire tra i borbottii del presunto titolare che ci diceva, "simpaticamente", di andarcene e lasciare la consumazione sul posto.

Mi domando come, al di là di ogni ragionevole dubbio, si possa pretendere di far uscire un bambino di 3 mesi da un locale perché occupa spazio.

Nulla da dire sulla qualità del cibo, peccato solamente la maleducazione e l'ignoranza di alcune persone di dubbia morale e volontà.

ENG. I was in this place on 11/29/2022 (12:30) with my 3-month-old son in a stroller and a friend to have an aperitif (meatball and small beer). The owner, or presumed owner, repeatedly ordered us to move because the stroller "occupied" too much space inside the club. I point out that, at the same time as our visit, there was another stroller at the entrance and a lady in a wheelchair in front of the counter exit, singular as we were the only ones who were asked to move. In addition to having waited 13' to place a simple order, the gentleman asked us, in a rude and puffing way, to move. At the umpteenth request we decide to go out amidst the mutterings of the alleged owner who "nicely" told us to leave and leave the drink on the spot.

I wonder how, beyond any reasonable doubt, you can expect to let a 3-month-old baby out of a club because it takes up space.

Nothing to say about the quality of the food, just a shame about the rudeness and ignorance of some people of dubious...

Excellent home cooked style dishes, impeccable service and great selection of wines. They make excellent rigattoni a'lla amatriciana, ricotta and pumpkin gnocchi topped up with pot roast jus and smoked ricotta, lasagne bolognese, tortellini with radicchio, canelloni (made with crepes) with ricotta and spinach, etc. Prices are fair! We had lunch already two times, and we will go again! They made us feel like part of their family :)...

Great spot for a drink and some food. We arrived in-between kitchen hours but the owner made us plates of the 7 kinds of meats that he had available with saurkraut. Each was very good and the plate was full of food. Neither of us finished everything. Paolo was very friendly as was the rest of the staff. Rock music was playing while...
