I recently dined at a restaurant that left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. In all my years of dining out, I have never encountered such a disastrous experience. From the lackluster service to the underwhelming appetizers and appalling main dishes, this establishment managed to ruin what should have been a pleasant evening.

Let's start with the service, which was, at best, mediocre. The staff appeared disinterested and failed to provide the level of attentiveness one would expect. While not outright rude, their lack of enthusiasm made it clear that they were just going through the motions.

Now, onto the food, which can only be described as ordinary and heavy. The appetizers were lackluster, to say the least. They were rubbery and unremarkable, with only a mere sprinkling of oil for flavor. The baccala, touted as a specialty, was an absolute disappointment. The overwhelming amount of melted cheese completely overpowered any semblance of fish flavor, rendering it virtually tasteless. It was a classic case of quantity over quality.

As if the appetizers weren't disappointing enough, the main dishes were a complete letdown. The scallops, which should have been the highlight of the meal, were overcooked to the point of being rubbery. All I could taste was an overpowering dose of olive oil, and the unpleasant smell only added to the overall unappealing experience. It was clear that the kitchen lacked the expertise and finesse required to execute such delicate dishes.

To add insult to injury, the restaurant had the audacity to include the subpar meal on the bill without any consideration or apology. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, their response was arrogant and dismissive. They claimed that everything was produced as usual, showing a complete disregard for customer feedback and satisfaction.

Needless to say, my mood was utterly ruined for the entire evening. It is disheartening to see a restaurant that not only fails to deliver on its promises but also treats its customers with such disrespect. I strongly advise against dining at this establishment.

Located in an alley, we (non-Caucasion visitors)came here around 12pm, no other guests around. We ordered the scallop as gratin, mussels in broth, tagliatelle with scampi, and spaghetti vongole. Service was good, very nice people.
