The Huntsman Pub 1870 — Restaurant in Turin

First I would say that the Piccadilly burger was good we really enjoyed it. But everything else was terrible! The service: awful, eventhough it was not too crowded they would take way too long to take orders. When we had our table full of empty plates and glasses no one cared to take them, but then when we ordered again they took our half-full plates without asking!!!!!!! This has been one of the worst experiences I've had. The cocktail: we had several drinks, my drink had a big layer of sugar that was not even slightly shaken into the cocktail, just laying there at the bottom of the glass. Taste: 0/10 price: 12 whereas in other places you can find them for 7-8 with much higher quality. Atmosphere: after 9:30 pm there was a very bad vinegar-like smell! It was really bad. The worst service I've had in a long time. I used to come to this pub and had a great experience every time, so I don't know what happened to the service.

We went on a slow night and stayed for 3 hours and had 4 rounds of drinks.

The staff made us pay right away every time we ordered something (per round), which would have been fine if they hadn't started refuse to let us split the bill after the 2nd round.

After the waiter refused to let us split the bill, she also refused to bring us glasses of tap water, insisting that we needed to buy bottled water. Not only is this absolutely against EU regulations and illegal in Italy, but at this point we had just spent about 70 euros.

Pretty poor form for the highly anticipated Eurovision final - the unfortunate staff were so lovely but completely overwhelmed by the number of customers - table service took over 50mins for drinks to arrive and the bar was 10 deep with wait times over 40mins to order drinks and they arrived without ice. Plenty of TVs which would have been great but you couldn't actually hear anything - they didn't plan ahead to provide additional speakers - some large groups walked out and went to watch from their hotel rooms. It seems management got a little greedy at this event and overbooked the venue completely.
