This had been on my bucket list for a long time after seeing a news article about it. It really hit all the marks I was expecting and hoping for. The chocolate was delicious, the shop was quaint, and the woman at the counter could not have been nicer. We bought a number of packs that included all their styles of chocolate as well as their two most famous with hazelnut. Entrate in questa piccola bottega storica le cui origini risalgono alla fine dell'Ottocento e lasciatevi ammaliare dal principe di tutti i cioccolatini: il gianduiotto. In questa cioccolateria piemontese si seguono ancora le ricette tradizionali con lavorazioni manuali che esaltano le qualità del cioccolato. I gianduiotti che dovete gustare sono quelli fatti a mano, uno ad uno, ma poi provate anche le Giacomette, sapientemente ricoperte di granella di nocciola e ispirate alla figura della maschera torinese, da cui prendono il nome. Ma se siete golosi, non fermatevi qui. Personalmente consiglio ai palati più adulti i cioccolatini chiamati Alpinluce, ottimi gusci di cioccolato ripieno di crema e vino passito Erbaluce di Caluso.
