Scam Warning! It is sooo sad as local to report how a long standing institution of Torino (nicely run by previous owners) has become a shameful example of unethical behavior. For just a few cents of extra profit this may happen to you too: Double check your bills with the price list, especially when sitting at the tables. Always Ask for an itemized receipt as requested by law. If buying products sold by the weight make sure the tray/packaging weight is netted out When paying with credit card the owner will take your card and not show you the amount tapped on the machine. Do pay with credit cards or else they would not issue with a receipt (and pay taxes) Enjoy...

Premetto che ho assaggiato solo la loro “famosissima” Nuvola, quindi il mio giudizio riguarda solo quella.

L’esperienza culinaria che ho vissuto ve la posso descrivere con un esempio: Avete presente quando fate una delle innumerevoli cene pre natalizie a casa di qualcuno?! E molti portano i panettoni e i pandori trovati nelle ceste regalo ricevute a lavoro ?! Ne mangerete sicuramente qualche fetta, trovandole anche accettabili considerando la fabbrica di pneumatici da cui arrivano, dopodiché ognuno andrà a casa propria pieno come il Gabibbo e gli verrà rifilato qualche avanzo di questo o di quello, con la solita frase : ”dai prendetelo che ce n’è troppo , noi non lo mangiamo tutto”….. ok 😒

Ora tornerete a casa stanchi e lascerete alla rinfusa il panettone/pandoro chiuso male sul tavolo per andare al più presto a lanciarvi nel letto come Gerry Scotti si lanciò sul tavolo di Striscia la Notizia, promettendovi che il giorno dopo non avreste ne pranzato ne cenato… Bugiardi🤥 .. Ora, il giorno dopo, alzandovi e vedendo quel povero cadavere di panettone/pandoro lasciato sul tavolo l’ingordo che c’è in voi tornerà ad affacciasi nella vostra testa, e vi ritroverete a mangiare quella fetta sporchi di zucchero a velo come Tony Montana in Scarface sporco di cocaina a fine film, trasgredendo immediatamente alla promessa fatta la sera prima, piangendo dentro e sentendovi dei luridi…

Ecco, la Nuvola di Ghigo è esattamente quella fetta del giorno dopo dura e secca lasciata sul tavolo uno o due giorni!! Con l’aggravante che per un kilo di prodotto pagherete 47 €(QUARANTASETTE/00 euro).

L’unica spiegazione che mi sono dato per un prezzo del genere e appunto che tutto quello zucchero a velo sopra sia in realtà cocaina , cocaina purissima!

In conclusione è un prodotto che non varrà mia quella cifra assurda , con un panettone della Bauli fate più bella figura !!

We had been recommended Pasticceria Ghigo for colazione and we’re glad that we followed the advice we were given. We visited on a Sunday morning, so it was busy, although we didn’t have to wait for a table. You have to try the brioche quadrata. It’s definitely for the Insta crowd, but it is delicious, and certainly not style over substance. The cappuccino was very nice, and to pretend we were having a healthy breakfast, we had a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice each. Price wise, it was very reasonable, and we hope to go again...
