The place is nicely situated for the tourist to pass by and the stuff is really nice, doesn't have great views, however,they don't need them, the ice cream is amazing, it has an amazing good flavor, it is nothing compare with the supermarquet or ice cream products like Magnum , the ice cream they have they do it themselves and for 3,50€ you have a full cup with 3 flavors, is a chip price for the quality they put in it. This gelato shop sits adjacent to another (La Passerella) so it's hard not to compare Riva against its neighbor. Unfortunately, it's not Riva, but La Passerella, that comes out at the top based on the quality of the product. The mint flavor from Riva tastes shockingly artificial. This was easily the best cold creamed dessert I’ve had in my life. While not a great number (I have a severe peanut and tree nut allergy), the gelato here was truly amazing that I went back twice in the one day I was in the town.
