Superior Blue House — Hotel in Varenna

My family stayed in Alessandra’s 2 rental properties - Joy and Harmony for 4N/5D in June 2024 for a family wedding in Villa Balbienello and Cipressi. The properties are situated in 1 compound with a shared patio for both units. The units are newly renovated- very modern and state of the art appliances and fixtures; doors are all smart. The unit with a blue door has a jacuzzi inside the bedroom! It is kept very clean by Alessandra, who is a perfect host. It is in a very safe and quiet location. She made arrangements for a van pick up from the Varenna Esino station (€20 payable to the driver).

Alessandra prepared welcome drinks and snacks for us. Explained the expectations and how to navigate the city. Varenna is promontory but her property only has about 15 steps to go up from the streets. It is very close to the piazza and is very accessible and close to groceries, bars and resto. A pizza parlour is directly below the stairs from her place (a box of delicious pizza is from € 7 to 10) which is way cheaper if you purchase it from the lake stores. Hotels Albergo and Cipressi are few steps from the place.
