Ultimo is a cocktail bar and lounge in Varese, first opened by owner and manager Fabio Maroni 10 years ago.

Fabio has faced a difficult challenge convincing his customers in Varese that there's more to life than the Moscow mule and vodka soda. However, over the years, he's managed to steadily introduce a line of international classics and signatures to the drink list, educating the drinking public in Varese along the way.

Why the name "Ultimo" (Last)? It's an homage to that magic moment when you think you're on your last drink but then, all of a sudden, the night magically transforms into an epic story worthy of recounting to your friends the next day and for years to come. We've all been there, when we were completely convinced of going home after "one last drink", but then the evening ends up turning into a long, fun and sometimes naughty adventure. Fabio is clearly not in the camp of those who say that "nothing good happens after 2 AM".

The entrance to Ultimo features a charming courtyard terrace, which will draw you towards the cozy bar inside. The friendly and attractive staff will make you feel immediately at home. Before dinner, when Ultimo is still relatively calm, you can sit at a table or even up at the bar on a stool.

After dinner, Ultimo's atmosphere is totally transformed. The relaxing aperitivo turns into a full on party, with Ultimo completely packed both inside and in the enchanting courtyard.

Although you will struggle to find a spot near the bar counter, the bartenders still manage to chat up their thirsty fans, while cranking out great signatures...
