Giving a 1 star given dishonest male staff working on 2nd March 2025 4.44pm that charges different rates to Italiano illiterate tourist. Its our first stop in Italy from Switzerland and have yet to know what are the prices are like. After having to drag luggages from the train station, we were out of sorts and decided to purchase since its closest to our airbnb.
We ordered a funghi pizza slice which menu shows 8euro and 15euro respectively which we thought prices are for a normal slice and larger slice. But today 3rd March, we headed back to get another slice after walking the whole day and wanted a quick bite. Lady staff explained that a slice costs only 3euro.
I think it is fine to donate to the shop if they're so keen to cheat tourists for this meagre sum, given the pizza is really quite nice and heated to serve. Read moreThe food and location was good. But service was terrible. I know a nice leisurely Italian lunch is what's supposed to be, but we are not talking slow leisurely but slow incompetent. Took ages to get one pizza to share, then we got two pizzas, that I had to tell them was for another table. We then waited again for our pizza. We ordered another beer, which took 15 minutes to arrive. We thought we would have a dessert, ordered; after 20 minutes asked where they were, to be told 'oh sorry I'll sort that out now'! The food was good, but nearly 3 hours for a pizza, 2 beers and dessert was bad. If the location with a view and good for people watching and the food hadn't been so good we would have left. But we were on holiday and relaxed. They need to sort...
