Don’t go there! Tourist trap.
WARNING
There are plenty of nice restaurants in this street - avoid this one.
The food is from the microwave, the pizza is the worst frozen pizza ever (you can walk to coop supermarket and get better ones for cheap). Italian food is so good and this is just the worst, I feel sorry for people traveling from far away to have authentic Italian cuisine and then get served this. Just awful.
We were there with 2 little children and the waiter served everything besides my 4-year-olds son pasta. It was the end after a long day and we waited 20 min - no pasta. We asked twice. We then shared the other foods with him and told the waiter to cancel the pasta.
The (Chinese) boss came and everybody was very upset, the waiter said that we were disrespecting the other guests by asking for our food (?!?). I had to fight to have them take the pasta off the bill.
Also the service was very weird. The waiter for example asked if we wanted butter to our bread, we said no, he then went on about Americans being fat due to butter (I used to live in the US and didn’t ask for this uninformed opinion) and that he likes medium body figures like mine… it was uncomfortable.
After all of this we then felt sick all night.
The only positive aspect is that the wine was ok.
Trust me and...
Read moreWent to dinner on 27/08/2017 at around 7.00pm on my last night in Venice for what I thought would be a nice casual meal. Staff looked bored and unhappy and our waitress in particular should not be working in hospitality. When asking to pay by card as we had little cash left from the day, the waitress (with brown hair) tutted, rolled her eyes, and gave me a dirty look as she walked away and was not even remotely discreet about this. On returning with the card machine I asked about the completey unnecessary rude response and once again was spoken to with sarcasm and careless behaviour which I have never encountered in any country I have visited which have been many. You should be happy we as tourists chose to eat at your restaurant. You should always treat someone how you want to be treated. If your looking for a place to eat in Venice do yourselves a favour and don't even think about going here. There are plenty more to choose from with much friendlier hospitatly. Heads up to the manager think about who you employ...
Read moreThis restaurant is located south of Venice island in a quite district. I went Thier with my partner because were tourists so we wanted cheapest priced pasta . We had a very friendly welcome by a young lady who understood our poor Italian / English.
We ordered pasta pomodoro and garlic pasta. They sounded very simple dishes but we were surprised that they actually tasted extremely delicious. The garlic one was spicy with chilli and the tomato dish.
We also ordered water that came only from a bottle. Which is good because it's not tap water.
The whole price came to €21 including tax , dishes and water.
We had a wonderful experience as it was quite. Decent decor but not high end. It was basically a "local Italian" . It was too far from the boat piers and the main walk to at...
