KM0 — Restaurant in Vernazza

Normally I’m not one to write these kinds of things but this needed to said publicly. I cannot believe how highly rated this place is. We were literally served three of the tiniest pancakes I’ve EVER had for 8€. I know Italian dishes were small but these three pancakes were no larger than the circumference of a soda can.These were on the main breakfast menu as a main course. Sure, the presentation was immaculate but the pancakes wouldn’t have been more than 100 calories in total. Not to mention we literally heard a microwave ding and you can imagine how quickly our food came out after… then when my friend went to the bathroom the only worker there did not even close the door. We had pasta - pesto and tomato. Divine. After a walk from Vernazza to Corniglia - it was worth it! 🤭 The sweets were simply heavenly! 🥰 A big "-", because from the kitchen there were constantly dissatisfied looks and "muttering", dissatisfaction. Also, they were arguing amongst themselves, which could be heard very well because the rooms inside are small. Wow! This place is a MUST VISIT when in Corniglia, Chique Terra! The food is fresh and local, the service is amazing and the staff are happy to talk and explain local cuisine! I recommend the mixed platter of meats and cheese and definitively try a cocktail! You can taste the alcohol so you know it’s not watered down! Like some places! The barman was exceptionally friendly!
