Four of us from England arrived here on a Wednesday evening as booked - but anxious because of our experience of getting here. We’d made the mistake of trying to drive up to the restaurant and destroyed one of our car tyres in the process. The staff were wonderful - allowing one of us to sit aside to use the phone, and negotiating with the hire car company and tyre repair garage on our behalf when our Italian language skills proved woefully inadequate.
With the evening’s disaster under control we sat down to fabulous fine dining, superb wine and excellent local beer. A QR code was provided so we could download the menu in English, and make an informed choice from the bewildering number of delicious-sounding options.
Once the excellent meal was finished the proprietor called us a taxi and helped us negotiate with the driver to ensure our crippled car could be left in a place accessible to the recovery company - staying open well beyond his advertised closing time to make sure we were okay.
And the real bonus - the proprietor phoned us the next morning to make sure we’d got back to our villa safely and everything was okay.
Absolutely fantastic - and highly recommended to anyone. But … from our experience … don’t try to drive through the narrow medieval strrets up to the door. Park in one of the main car parks instead and take a walk into...

Prezzi tendenzialmente alti (portate principali tra i 18 e I 20 euro), ma ben rapportati all'ottima qualitá dei prodotti, alla presenza di tartufo in scaglie in diverse portate, alle porzioni soddisfacenti e ad un servizio impeccabile. Sembrerá scontato, ma era da tempo che non vedevo un cameriere circumnavigare piú volte una tavolata lunga da 8 persone pur di servire prima le signore. Servizio veloce, nonostante siano stati ordinati diversi primi differenti e il ristorante fosse quasi pieno. Bagni lindi e pulitissimi, attrezzati per disabili.
