Dandelion — Restaurant in Aomori

Tried this under radar steakhouse yesterday and it was amazing value + taste so I wanted to give it a shout out.

Dinner sets are priced around 1950 yen (tax included) and comes with a free salad (they drenched the fresh veg in a delicious onion dressing). I got the set with a skirt steak, hamburg and chicken. All great tasting. Skirt steak was surprisingly tender for it's cut. They also thoughtfully give you a hot stone to grill your meat an extra few minutes if you want. The meat will typically arrive slightly underdone. For 320 yen (?) extra, you get free flow hot soup and rice. Perfect for cold days.

One member of my travelling party doesnt eat beef. So we ordered garlic shrimp. I thought it would be frozen prawns, and just a few, and ljke an appetiser. They served us an entire hot plate meal - complete with garlic bread slices, five pretty large sized prawns, drenched in a buttery and garlicky olive oil sauce.

Amazing value and taste.

We enjoyed ourselves so much that we also ordered a sausage platter. This is the first time i have seen any eatery stuff chicken bones into sausages to make it easier for customers to hold and it. Very thoughtful.

Service is excellent. One member of my travelling party had difficulty walking, so the handsome young male server was so helpful before we entered and while we were leaving, holding the door, holding the hand of the difficult walker. The cook also came out to help. The old lady server was also very nice.

All in all, I hope more people can come support small food businesses like these. I am not sure why Aomori City is so quiet even on Culture Day, but I have already recommended this restaurant to my friends. Those who drink alcohol will find that it would pair nicely with the steaks...

Wow I love this steak restaurant! It serves high quality steaks at a very affordable price. I enjoyed a dinner set for about 1900 yen and ordered the double steak set which was super tender and juicy. It also came with several sides such as corn, potatoes, onions and a salad bowl. Fantastic value and taste. I also ordered the garlic prawns and it arrived with garlic bread too which was perfect for dipping in the garlic sauce. We dined here on Wednesday night 1 had the Japanese Steak and the other had the big 3 tiered hamburger meat stack with cheese and egg. The best of the 2 was the hamburger meat dish. There was no English Menu and none of the staff spoke English, however our server was very patient with us while we used a translate app. Draft beer was had a very large head and almost 1/3 of glass was froth would be my only real negative...
