菊鮨 — Restaurant in Asahikawa

I visited around 7 p.m. on a Wednesday evening. I checked Google reviews beforehand. It exceeded my expectations.

I was worried the sashimi might be fishy, but I needn't have worried. I had both the extra-high-grade and standard sushi, as well as the regular raw fish. This was by far the best sashimi I've ever had. It's not a fancy or sophisticated restaurant, but it was clean and tidy, and the staff was friendly, and the food felt reasonably priced. I was also impressed by the abacus.

千葉県から1人旅で、ネットで調べまくって予めこちらで食べる事を決めて伺いました。

結論を先に書きますと、このお店は大当たりでした。＾＾～♪

お寿司、お酒、お店の雰囲気や清潔感、接客等、すべてが文句無しの★5評価です。

ネットで調べた限りでは結構な人気店でいつでも賑わっているという事だったのですが、なぜか両日共に空いており、ゆっくりと過ごせました。 （27日は現地旭川の人たちが閉口する程の大雪で閉めているお店が多く、人も疎らでした。）

特に27日はカウンター席にお一人でいらした先客の方が色々と北海道グルメについて教えてくださり、美味しいわ楽しいわで本当に幸せな時間を過ごせました。

中には時価のネタもありますが、ほとんどのネタは1貫幾らと明確に値段が表示されていますので、安心して食べる事が出来るお店です。
