If you’re looking for vegan-friendly ramen, this is a great spot. Filling and delicious, I was able to feel like I could enjoy a “normal” bowl of ramen for the first time in Japan. Their vegan ramen has a miso-based broth (without the added animal products you’d usually find) and comes with a few toppings including plenty of Hokkaido’s famous corn. The shoyu ramen (not vegan/vegetarian) is apparently also delicious. There are also vegetarian gyoza on offer, as well as some sort of potato pottage ramen alternative which looked intriguing. The atmosphere is low-key and friendly (the waitress came by after a bit to make sure we could read the menu ok), and plenty of people seemed to be popping in, alone or with friends and family, for a bowl of ramen. Only thing is that the performance of the staff were a bit disappointing, they kept us waiting at the door for a few minutes past opening time, then they didn't greet us at all, not even with a smile or a nod, and didn't think to apologize for the delay. It took around 13 minutes for the food to be served, which is not good but not very bad.
