Although it’s located in a touristy spot, the dishes found in this restaurant has a down-to-earth, homemade feel. The experience is made all the better with good service from the family that runs it. They also sell eggs, sweet potatoes and corns in an adjacent open shop. Thumbs up to the service and food.

レビューが良かったので行きましたが、皆さん気をつけてください。注文してから1時間経っても出てきません。私がいる間に10人以上は待てずに帰っていきました。だんご汁なんて出そうと思えばすぐに出せる料理ですよ。オペレーションが悪すぎるんです。あまりにも遅いので途中経過を見にキッチンを見ましたが、人参の皮を剥いていました。そんなの仕込みの段階でやっておくべきことです。旅行で来て1時間20分待たされるとさすがにその後の予定が狂いますよ。そして衝撃的な瞬間を見てしまったのですが、カツカレーを頼んだらカレーはレトルトです。 1時間20分待ってレトルトカレー。。こちらも見てしまいました。見たくなかった事実です。だんご汁はそうですね、、具を入れた味噌汁といったところでしょうか。特に感動はないです。麺はもうボイルされたパックのやつだったので(これも見ました)やわやわです。モチモチ感もないです。給食で出てきたうどんみたいな感じ。しかも、だんご汁のだんごがないです。もはやほうとうです。友人は一個だけ入っていたと言ってましたが私には入ってませんでした。。愛知や静岡から友人を連れてきて、なんとも申し訳ない気持ちになりました。店員のおばちゃんと料理をしていた方はお待たせしてすみません、と対応は良かったですが、限度があります。ゆで卵を売っていたじいちゃんは私たちが時間潰しに見ていたテレビをいきなりリモコンを取り出して、ソフトバンクはどうなった。と野球に変え、そのままどこかに消えました。ろくに見ないなら戻してくれよ、じいちゃん。こっちは1時間以上待ってるんですよ。誰も興味ない野球を見させられ、 1時間20分待たされ、これが本当の地獄だね。と、全員苦笑いでした。勘弁してください。

だんご汁 (Dango-Jiru・団子汤)

大分県を代表する郷土料理で、幅広い「だんご麺」とたっぷりの野菜を、いりこと鰹節のだしが効いた麦みそ仕立ての汁で煮込んだ温かい料理です。具材には、ごぼう、人参、かぼちゃ、白菜、小松菜、豆腐を使用。※季節によって具材が若干変わることがあります。(Dango-jiru is an oita-style flour dumpling soup, a traditional dish from oita prefecture, featuring wide 'dango noodles' and plenty of vegetables simmered in a miso-based broth with dried sardines and bonito flakes dashi. We came here as a group of 3 for lunch around 1pm. Waited in line but it was fast enough. The menu is nothing fancy with udon and soba etc. the special is dango Jiri which is a miso based soup with noodles and veg. Home cooked food , nothing fancy

We waited over an hour for 3 noodles which was nuts

They are soooo slow to serve such simple food and small menu.. its a really poor experience and it was fairly average. My advise is not...
