Kōraibō — Restaurant in Beppu

One of the most authentic Korean restaurant in Beppu (according to my Korean friend). The atmosphere was soooooo nice, and the staff asked about my allergies first thing. I'm a vegetarian, so instead of taking my order from the normal menu, they asked me what I like (if I prefer soups or srirfry) and basically made an omakase dish for me. It was so good and the portion was also sooooooo big. I ordered soup, one stirfry, korean pancakes, and 2 rice, and was so sure it's going to be 5k+ but it waa actually less than 3k for 2 people and we even needed to take home some because we couldn't finish it. Will definitely come back again!

Delicious food and friendly service, the owners are very kind. The restaurant is a little small though so I recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment from the restaurant being full as it seems very popular (the mayor has even eaten here multiple times)! There doesn't seem to be an English menu yet, but the staff are happy to recommend things and some of the menu pages...
