Went twice on October 27. We were a couple. Frist time we went in during lunch time in the afternoon. We saw all the tables were full, however, the counter seats were empty. We were told that there will be an hour long wait if we wanted to wait. We decided that we will come back at dinner time.
When we returned at night time, we saw that there was a table of 4 empty. All other seats and the COUNTER were occupied. We were told this time that they didn't have space and they have a reservation. The staff didn't speak fluent English, so it was a bit difficult to understand.
We were really disappointed with the experience. In the afternoon, we were not given a space even though the counter seats were available, and in the night, we were not given a space even though there was a table of 4 available.
Reading comments here, people are saying that this place often runs out of dishes. It is likely this place is unorganized with their meal planning that it can't serve its costomers. It also sounds like this place is expensive and their portions are small, and not worth the price.
We were here for one more day, and didn't bother to return after such a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis beautiful restaurant in Kawaguchiko City, or the Kawaguchi area, is truly amazing. The food is 100% halal, and the staff are extremely polite, kind, and professional. The dishes are delicious, especially the chicken ramen we tried ā it was outstanding.
We visited this city and the Yamanaka area for two days to enjoy the natural scenery and breathtaking views, especially Mount Fuji. We had a bus departing at 5:15 PM and arrived at the restaurant around 4:30 PM. They managed to prepare our order within just 30 minutes.
The welcome we received was exceptional, and they greeted us warmly as visitors from Saudi Arabia. I sincerely thank them for their hospitality and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I give it a very high rating.
I hope more Muslim-friendly restaurants like this will spread throughout Japan, as it is a beautiful country that deserves to be visited by everyone ā especially the two billion Muslims...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI did not had a chance to eat here but we were turned away even though there were still plenty of seats available. They should have clear information in the website or at least in the premises if they accept RESERVATIONS only. We wanted at first to eat here as itās certified HALAL but unfortunately, the staff did not even bother explaining why we cannot be seated. We waited for a bit outside but they just ignored us. Itās better to eat in Idaten (tempura restaurant just beside this) which is more spacious and has Halal options. Actually we went there first thinking it was the same and they greeted us with warm welcome and we have to leave coz we were in the wrong place. Our mistake, should have dined there instead. As you can see, the prices in Bettei were ridiculously expensive compared to the...
