Most presentation boxes are clear, clean, and well lit from a dedicated light directly above, with signs in Japanese and English. Large quartz (translated as "rock crystal”) and amethyst clusters are displayed directly. Not much info on crystal structures, as at other similar museums. The gift shop, which is free to access, also has some impressive elements in its collection, including a variety of (what they claim are) real quartz crystal balls. From Kawaguchiko-Station, I will recommend first walk(18minute) to tatamiiwa lake then another 18-20minute to here.
Enjoy the lake view on your right, and Mount on left while going to the museum then cross the street to oike Park.
In this case, save 40 minute for 3 spots waiting for the bus and sometime late yet you still can enjoy the view.
