the location is convenient as it is only 5 min walk from Kawaguchiko Station and major bus terminal. But there is not much varieties of food choice in walking distance. It is an aged building, staff are courteous.||||cleanliness is very important to me, unfortunately it really failed me. We had a 3 nights stay, upon checked in to the first room, i found the toilet has a very strong stench, the spring on mattress is hard n hurting when sleeping on. I managed to stay 1 night in the first room and has to asked for room change the next day, I cannot stand the stench from the toilet. when I returned from my outing on that day, our luggage was in the newly assigned room, we switch on the heater (aircon type), the black dust start blowing out with the air, my whole bed were dirtied. We went down to reception and they came up with a vacuum, they said no other room avail and still think that we can stay in that room!! ..... they cleaned the bed, didn't change the bed sheet and pillow case, and said it is fine for us to stay. I switch on the heater again, the black dust continued, like this they have no choice to gave me another room. ||||And its time to change to our third room for the stay. Before we moved our luggage to the next room, we test the heater and check the toilet, toilet has some stench but still acceptable and it is already 7pm and we were so tired to pursue further. We had reserved a room facing the Mt Fuji , after the change it was just a room facing the building and we did not get any compensation. But never mind, I just want a clean room to complete my 3 nights there. All the 3 rooms that we have used, the blanket cover ( which serve as a blanket too) is so dirty, black linen dots can be found. Overall, I am sorry, I wont stay here again, it is just way...
Read moreA classic hotel managed by two friendly elderly men. Both ojiisan cant speak English but they both understand whatever i said in English. They both tried to be helpful in anyway. The hotel's staff and crew are elderly people as well. The hotel is near to Kawaguchiko bus and train station (less 100m). There is a bicycle rental shop a few metres from its left side. The twin bed room i booked is small but comfortable and a few spaces for me to perform my solat. The sliding window is weird too and since i didnt know how to close it, we got our room wet from the rain that night 😭. The beds are comfortable with a small pillow each. The bathroom and toilet are small too but clean, complete with basic toiletries - clean towels, a hard toothbrush and toothpaste, a tiny soap and a packet of shampoo. However becareful with the hot water because the flow isnt stable and you will find yourself burnt from the sudden hot flows. Inside the room we have a TV, aircond (the room is hotter during summer even with an aircond), slippers, yukata (do not fret if you didnt bring a nightdress), two little chairs and a small table, a few packets of green tea, glasses and a weird kettle with Japanese instructions 😭😭😭 which we failed to understand. No mineral water in bottles provided so we used the boiled tap water. The vending machines downstaires do not provided mineral waters too. 7 Elevan and Lawson are about 200m to 300m from the hotel (on the right side). I got all of my rations from the Kawaguchiko Station because it is nearer to the hotel and the station. has all types of...
