Sorano Bakehouse Enoshima — Restaurant in Fujisawa

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! My wife reached out to the owners through their website and they coordinated a special assortment for my birthday as a surprise. When we got to the bakeshop, they were super discrete and brought the platter with candles! Their specialty caneles are fantastic - We couldn’t eat just one. Their juices (like watermelon) and other drinks are also delicious. It’s a very stylish space, and entirely gluten free and oat free (celiac safe!). We had to come back a second time during our trip to Enoshima. They offer shipment to Osaka and other parts of Japan through their online shop - We will definitely look into this for special events in the future. Kosuke went above and beyond to help us get some delicious gluten free pastries! We showed up early to make sure we could catch a train later, and he let us order and eat before the official opening of the shop.

The canele was delicious, with an interesting crispy and soft texture. We got the vanilla rum flavor.

We also got a raspberry matcha latte, which was cool and refreshing for the summer heat! The raspberry paired very well to the matcha flavor.

A cute little bakery tucked away on the side of Enoshima station. Everything is marked as Gluten Free, which is very rare. Both clerks are very sweet. They sell massive gluten free ice cream sandwiches (which are delicious!) and packaged gluten free cookies - so you can stock up! Eat outside and watch the Enoden trains pass right in...
