Terrible, discriminatory service. My husband accidentally broke his glass, and multiple glass shards fell into his bowl (early on in the meal). Our waitress initially offered to replace our dish but the guy I assume is the owner told her no, never mind, in Japanese, assuming we didn't understand. so we had to pluck out glass and hope we don't cut our tongues on the food. If we were Japanese, we definitely would have been able to get our food replaced but because we are foreigners, the owner opted to have us eat food with glass in it. Do not eat here. The owner is just cocky because of all the tourism and business, but he has no right to treat us any less because we don't look like we...
Read moreAbsolutely gorgeous!! I was looking for a restaurant where has ras whitebaits (Shirasu) available. On that day, this restaurant was the only option so we decided to give it a go. We ordered donburi with raw shirasu, I had raw shirasu and salmon roe donburi and my husband had 4 different types of shirasu ( raw, boiled, fried and marinated) donburi. It was very fresh and delicious, we also had “Kawahagi” sashimi which was cooked while it was alive. Freshest sashimi ever and gorgeous representation - with the local Enoshima beer available, I was pleased that we went to the restaurant. Definitely...
One of the restaurants located along the approach from Enoshima Ohashi Bridge to Ejima Shrine serves a variety of dishes using fresh seafood from Enoshima, as can be seen from the samples of dishes displayed outside the restaurant. Starting with a bowl of rice topped with Shirasu, the restaurant offers a wide variety of sashimi, ikezukuri(arranged in its original shape), boiled, and deep-fried fish dishes, all of which are delicious, making it a perfect place to enjoy a party over drinks, especially in the evening. With over 100 seats, the restaurant can accommodate a large group (however, advance reservations are required). Perhaps because of its capacity, the restaurant did not appear to be so crowded, and (although it may depend on the timing) 4 to 5 people could enter the restaurant immediately without a reservation. We didn't have to wait too long for our order to be served, probably because the staff is well versed in staffing and operations during busy times of the year. The service from each staff member was excellent. Although there are private rooms, there are no doors at the entrance and exit of each private room, nor are they all shielded. Even so, there seemed to be few opportunities to hear noise from other rooms. I think this is one of those restaurants where you can enjoy a meal with just...
