This spa is located close to the Enoshima station. It takes about 10-15 minutes walk from the station. The staff speaks both Japanese and English. They offer great customer service and the massages are “western style” not the Japanese style of doing a massage with your clothes on. They offer different oils to choose from before your massage. The facilities are clean. When you enter the building you have to check with the receptionist to verify your appointment. After which they will direct you to take off your shoes and put on an inside slipper. You will have to place your shoe in a locker and keep the key chain with you while on the property. This key will give you access to lockers to store away your clothes and other belongings. The receptionist will give you a bag which contains a rag, towel, bath robe. After using the facilities there are dressing areas to change, blow dry your hair, it has lotion etc. You can also sign up for membership which will give you discounts on their spa services especially on your birthday. They offer hot springs, saunas, showers and an inside pool. Kindly note, that if you go as a couple, your partner will have to use the male hot springs and sauna. Males and females are not allowed to use the hot springs and sauna together. However, you can use the pool and have couples massages together. Children are also allowed to use the facilities. As indicated above, the girls will have to go with their moms and boys with their dad to use the hot springs. There is also a restaurant on property, an outside pool among other places. The price ranges from $$$$-$$$$$. I highly recommend any of the signature massages, they are great!

IMPORTANT POINTS

  1. You have to make a reservation to use the facilities.
  2. You can only enjoy the spa facilities (sauna, pool, hot spring) if you reserve one of their signature massages.
  3. You are not allowed to take photographs.
  4. People with tattoos are not allowed to enjoy the spa facilities.
  5. Please note that you have to be naked while using the hot spring and sauna. Swimsuits are only allowed in...

The sunset, looking out into the ocean in a pool was beautiful. The staff was also helpful. However the facilities are definitely dated, from the pools to the changing rooms.

There was a shower that was broken (literally the glass was shattered) so we opted to shower in the Onsen instead. The combination of dated, parts run down and a public pool made the place feel dirty. For example in the photos there’s supposed to be a waterfall and that wasn’t there but a safety tarp was by one of the pools. Looking up in the ceiling the details of the roofs was filthy.

Top floor has music blasting, bottom floor had a cave like pool & the “waterfall” pool that did not work (with the safety tarp). I came on a weekday but I can imagine it being a bad experience if it’s super busy.

Overall it’s not that bad, it’s still Japan and definitely cleaner than most other countries but not the nicest place...

This was such a wonderful experience. My husband and I are on our fourth trip to Japan and we are staying in Enoshima. Since it's raining today, we decided to try this onsen and since it's a short walk from where we are staying. We got there around 11:30 and we had no wait at all. I only wanted to do the onsen while my husband got the package that included the onsen and the pool. My package was only for two hours and his was for the whole day. Two hours was more than enough. I was able to try all the different types of baths. My feet also feel and look completely revived. It was also mostly empty, probably due to the rain. At one point for a while, it was just us in the whole place. Unfortunately, we were unable to fully see the bay since it was pouring rain but it was quite calming to watch it through the window. We are halfway through our trip and this was the perfect...
