When we first arrived on the island, we passed this place and saw a huge line. On the way out, there was no line so we decided to stop by. At that point, we were super full and none of us really like pudding. None of us were prepared for how shockingly delicious this little tub of pudding was. It’s a similar texture and flavor to a Crème Brûlée but with more of a caramel flavor. The bottom layer had a thick caramel like sauce, and there were a few red beans in there which added a texture. Personally, I didn’t like the red beans, but I know they’re a very popular addition to Japanese desserts.

I am used to smooth texture and sweet taste. But this shop offer a creamy pudding and a elegant caramel flavor that is extremely pleasant.
It makes me wonder that it is artisanal craft with great ingredients to reach this texture and flavor. Bonus point for having a comprehensive way to collect and reuse their glass (compared to ominous single use plastic in Japan)
