Visited here last December while I was in the area and had the morning free so I was looking for some coffee shops to try.
Was initially interested since it was near the JR Fujisawa station where I had just came from and had really high ratings (4.8 stars) compared to others in the area. It’s about a 3-4 minute walk from the station turning left from the main road into a small district.
It’s a small cozy little shop with a few small tables and a main bar to sit at. I sat at the table since the bar was full and didn’t really want to interrupt their conversations. Really great service and super friendly barista.
I had a hot Latte (580¥) and an ice cream waffle (630¥), the Latte was great, best one I had in Japan so far and the waffle was crispy and not too sweet. Really outstanding compared to other coffee shops and the chains in the area.
But what really impressed me was the atmosphere of the cafe. I went there at around 10-11am and the general vibe of the cafe made me want to move there and come back everyday. 2 moms brought their kids and the kids were doing homework while the parent were talking with the barista. I couldn’t fully understand their conversation but it really gave me that feeling of taking life slowly and peacefully (little cliche but what’s life without that).
It’s a small shop with not that many seats so I wouldn’t recommend going there in groups of more than 2 people. There is also an english menu but no pictures.
Overall, I really recommend this place if you are in the area or it’s a short trip from Kamakura via the Enoden Line if you were visiting...
Read moreA nice cafe where the barista says “いてらさい” I don’t come to Fujisawa often however I had paper work to do, once completed I stoped here since online said they have Cortados. Very delicious coffee, I really enjoyed the atmosphere the barista had. As a barista myself I always found it important to create an atmosphere where people can enjoy conversation as well as relax. The way he handled each costumer with personal interest really made my day. He created an environment where people felt at ease and cared for. Coffee shops have lost that sense of belonging, passion and importantly community. I felt apart of the community sitting there listening and sharing with others while we all harmoniously sipped our coffee. He also spoke English which made it more at ease for me and many other foreigners to order.

Read moreOn our way to Hakone with my family, we stumbled upon a quaint little coffee shop. The thrill of discovering delightful coffee shops in each region is truly exhilarating. Fortunately, this one suited my taste perfectly, and the coffee was exquisite. My son engaged in a pleasant conversation with the owner, who kindly recommended other excellent coffee shops nearby, which we plan to visit. This journey is filled with warmth and happiness.
As for when we'll embark on another family trip to Japan, it remains uncertain, but I must make...
