37 PASTA — Restaurant in Fukuoka

2 stars were given to the waitress who served me because she had a great smile, which helped a lot with this terrible dinner. But I do not understand why there are so many positive reviews about the food.

I ordered an appetizer set (Fried Chicken + Fries) and beef meat sauce spaghetti (Spaghetti Bolognese). The food texture is great. The chicken is juicy and the handmade pasta is perfectly cooked. But the seasoning is terribly missing. There is completely no flavour on anything. Chicken is not marinated. No salt on the fries. And you can't taste the sweetness or sourness of the tomato meat sauce. I had to pour tons of salt on the pasta to finish all the food.

I know the taste is subjective. But there is no flavour on anything there. This is my first negative comment on a Japanese-Italian restaurant...

The staff were very nice and helpful! We waited just a bit and we're seated at the bar. My water glass was never empty.
