Ichiba zushi uotatsu — Restaurant in Fukuoka

if u are foreigner, don't go to this shop. They treat foreigner badly. When i enter the shop i was given a chinese version menu, the first page already written some sort of warning massage, "please leave within 15 minutes after u have finish eating ur food", ok fine. After i had finish eating, i was just checking n reading my emails, perhaps just only 5 minutes, n the waitress approach me n point to the first page rudely, n the fun part was that there were no guests waiting at all, all the seats were empty, there was only me n my husband n another 2-3 guests dining at that...

Getting off from Asakasa station, took about 5 minute walk to the this restaurant.

Notwithstanding near the fish market, I did not think their Sushi was fresh enough. Throughout 16 dishes of Sushi, cannot see any shinny and juicy surface. Taste was just normal, no surprise to me. Only clam soup was above average. Sushi rice was not sticky such that the fish always dropped from the rice.

Quite overrated, there are usually long queues. The sushi is mostly ok and you can try various more "exotic" options. There is an English menu and you have to write the order in an order sheet (a kind English speaking waitress helped us with that, otherwise you have to write the kanji characters on your own).

The squid sushi I got from the band was so hard that almost broke my teeth. Stick to ordering, instead of getting dishes...
