Ishikura Asahi Bldg. Ten — Restaurant in Fukuoka

Dipped into this place for lunch. Place would be a lil difficult to find i were to look for it again. Just happened to come across this place while roaming the countless food alleys in/under Hakata station. Glad i found this place. Staff was very friendly and food was awesome. Ended up getting the Shrimp Tempura bowl and a ice cold beer. No english menu but easily ordered with google translate. Very...

What we ate: after todays long day of driving, we settled for somewhere 5 mins walk from our hotel in the basement of Sunplaza underground mall..Ishikura izakaya, an unpretentious place packed with ‘sarariman’ - salaried office workers. Appetisers of chilled chicken in a tangy sauce; mixed sashimi, crispy breaded pork ‘tonkatsu’, garlic chicken and gyoza.¥4300....

夜に利用しました。外国人の友達と入店。まず、ろくに挨拶なし、ましてや、待ってても無視。入るのをやめようかと思いましたが、入りました。その後、お手拭きなどこちらから言うまで、誰も持ってこない。メニューの案内なし。英語のメニューがないので、おそらく外国人はターゲットにされていないと思われます。

日本人のわたしですら、こんな対応されるのだから、かなり品のない店だと思いました。

注文した品も、店員の人は投げるように、説明もなく、おいていったり、散々でした。人がサービスする理由あるのか疑問です。本当に普通の接客できないのなら、やらないほうがましだと思う。

どなたにもおすすめしません。

I used the restaurant at night. Entered the restaurant with a foreign friend. First of all, no greeting, moreover, they ignored us even though we were waiting for them. I thought about not going in, but I did. After that, no one brought us hand towels, hand wringers, etc. until we asked for them. No menu information. I am Japanese, but is this racism? If so, I think this is a terrible restaurant. I guess they don't target foreigners because they don't have an English menu.

Even I, a Japanese, was treated like this, so I thought it was a very unrefined restaurant.

The waiter threw my order and left it without explanation. I wonder if there is any reasons for people to serve us. If they really can't provide normal customer service, I think it would be better if they didn't.
