We came at 1:10pm on a Wednesday and it took 20 minutes to be seated. You can preorder while in line. Be prepared to have your clothes smelling like smoke. You can order the charbroiled hamburg already cooked for you or you can cook it yourself to your desired doneness using a mini hot stone. This is the most popular choice. Side items such as rice, miso soup and cabbage is extra with unlimited refills. The sides cannot be shared because of the refills. They also offer mini soft served vanilla ice cream.

For being a hamburg restaurant I thought the taste of the meat was just average. You have a choice of sauces and I opted for the yuzu. My partner ordered the steak with wasabi sauce and oh my god, I wished I had ordered the same. It was one of the best steaks I’ve had in Japan. we waited in line for about an hour before getting seated! the restaurant only seats about around 20+ people, so if you're waiting in line thats a good way to count and estimate your waiting time. Its also bar seats, so going in big groups would definitely mean that a longer waiting time might be required if you want to sit together. i thought it was strange when i saw a 5 people (2 parties of 2, and a single eater) leaving the restaurant however the line was still not moving. I realised it was because the next party in line was a group of 3.

If possible i'd generally recommend just going in to sit separately if possible.

a large portion (200g) is pretty decent portion size in my opinion 😬 the hamburg was really mindblowing - it wasn't overly meaty and chunky, but really tender and seasoned really well!

Always passed here and saw major lines. When I came by at 5pm one day I could enter without any wait.. So I did to see what all the fuss was about. Ordered the large 200 gram sumibiyaki Hamburg with set which includes all you can eat rice, salad, icecream and miso soup. You get a slightly cooked pile of mince meat which you then cook on a small rock... It's such a pain to do and not really an enjoyable experience as you sit in a tiny spot and end up stinking of smoked beef and bumped into by customers getting in or out or staff doing the same. Honestly not sure why you would line up.... In the end it cost me 1819 yen for a bunch of mince meat I cook in a small hot and smokey place with a bunch of staff who are not happy to be serving you.
