We booked the first slot of the day at Minipig Café in Fukuoka and it turned out to be the perfect choice — we had the entire space to ourselves, which made the experience feel incredibly intimate and even a little luxurious!
The pigs were adorable — each one with its own little personality. I was surprised to find out their fur is quite stiff (not what I expected!), and even more amazed that they’re all toilet trained, so no surprise accidents — such a relief!
The staff were lovely and thoughtful — they provided us with blankets and slippers right away so we could relax fully, and they were always nearby in case the pigs got a little too mischievous. The pigs love to pile on top of one another, and sometimes you find yourself with a full stack of pigs on your lap! The biggest and heaviest pig took a particular liking to my partner and parked itself comfortably on him for quite a while. It was hilarious to watch him try (and fail) to politely get the pig to move. Thankfully, the staff were very attentive and stepped in when needed.
It was such a wholesome and memorable experience — definitely recommend booking the early slot for a more peaceful, private encounter with these charming little (and...
Read moreSuper fun and cute experience! Out of all the animal cafes I’ve gone to in Japan, this made it to the top of my list. Just a quick walk from Tenjin station, and not hard to find which is convenient. I have to say, it’s so funny to not only step in and hear all the cute snorting noises first thing, but also seeing all these cute piggies run up to you for cuddles and rubs AS SOON as you sit down with a blanket - they definitely want love and attention and I highly recommend staying here an hour to really spend time with all of them. In addition to this, your timeslot/booking also includes drinks which is served from their vending machine, and I’m amazed to see not only how many options there are, but also the fact that you can get it hot or cold, and sweetened or unsweetened! And most of all, the staff here are incredibly friendly and sweet; they know all the pigs’ names, age etc. and they take great care of them as well, which was the most important thing to me and what I take in consideration before going to any animal cafe. Mipig cafe has a few locations around Japan, so definitely worth stopping by if there’s one near you - highly recommended if you...
Read moreVisiting the Mipig Cafe in Fukuoka was one of the most unique and heartwarming experiences we’ve had as a family! My wife, daughter, and I were completely charmed by the adorable micro pigs who were friendly, playful, and full of personality. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to explain how to interact with the pigs and making sure everyone was comfortable.
The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for both visitors and the pigs. Our daughter couldn’t stop smiling the entire time—it was such a joy to see her gently petting and playing with the little pigs. We took so many photos and made unforgettable memories.
