A Japanese restaurant located on the 2nd floor of the Miyako Hotel near by Hakata Station. They have a halal menu, don't forget to ask when you enter the restaurant. The food was delicious, if you order meat, don't forget to tell how it should be cooked (well done, middle, rare, medium well). At lunch time, they also tell you which options are halal among the different menus. I think it was a little expensive but I think it was a nice experience. I thank you for having a halal option in this nice restaurant. I hope to visit again.

amazing 'Izakaya' specialises in many exceptional fish menus, and it was also our first time tasting the Nodo Guro (black throat seaperch) ! we started with a simple set of sashimi, which was way over our expectations. every other menu we ordered was dedicated and elegant, with premium ingredients. well, all these delicious foods come with a hefty price tag, and it ended up being our most expensive dinner in Fukuoka. so come for a special occasion; indeed, you will go home with a unique gastronomy memory.

One thing I love about Japanese people is their attention to detail especially in restaurants like these. On my last day in fukuka I purchased bento boxes to takeaway and boy it was so pretty 🤩 The mackerel was perfectly salted and the skin was crispy. The bento had a lot of different stuff like egg, salmon roe which was fresh. I also loved the pickled radish for flavour. Hardworking people and perfectionists recommend this place also very convenient as it is like 1min walk from miyako

We ordered the special sashimi and sushi set. Both were great! We were also served some sort of appetizer which I’m not sure what it was as I didn’t order it and thought it was complimentary. Only realised I was charged for it after I paid the bill. Then also realised I was charged for 4 cups of tea when I thought it was free refill. The lady staff who served us spoke limited English and when I asked if I could have a refill, she removed the cups and came back very much later with 2 new cups. She didn’t inform me that it was to be charged. I used google translate to ask her if it was refill and she replied yes. I’ve been to Japan many times and have dined at restaurants many times but this is the first time that I’ve had such an experience. Will definitely...

A Jekyll and Hyde experience. Came here with a Japanese colleague. Service was great, and the sushi was fantastic. Fresh, full of flavor and clearly high quality sushi. The staff and sushi chefs greeted us coming in and greeted us on our way out.

I liked it so much so, that I brought my family the next day. Unfortunately, the service that time was average at best. Worst of all, the sushi was horrible. Some of the sushi were literally inedible. It was that bad. I ordered the same items from the night before, and it was as if we had come to a completely different restaurant. I had the most excellent dinner here! The quality of every dish was impeccable, and I would comfortably say this is the best meal I have had whilst in Japan! Additionally, the service was absolutely wonderful! I felt the warmth of the servers and the chefs, and the love and effort they put into taking care of their patrons. I was overjoyed after eating here, and I will remember my meal for many years to come!
