Yakiniku Iriwa — Restaurant in Fukuoka

The marinated beef here is probably the best beef I’ve ever had. If it isn’t already A5, it tastes better than A5. Came in here and was only going to order a little meat, but after the first taste I had to order more. I tried several options such as ribs and loin but kept ordering more of the marinated beef. The restaurant is has a great atmosphere and the staff here are very friendly, smiling and welcoming. They also speak both Japanese and English and the chef also speaks Korean. We arrived late to Fukuoka from Busan and while walking along the river did a quick search for the place to have a late dinner. Yakiniku Iriwa was just a few steps away and we entered the restaurant 40 min before its closing time. Despite that the servise was great, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amayzing. We have been to many yakiniku spots between Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, and Fukuoka… and this spot is our favorite by far! The whole staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The head waiter and chef (both pictured) are superstars. The service is smooth and cordial. The quality of the meat is amazing. The prices are beyond reasonable.
