Last Sunday I visited to Funubashi, along with my friends after our shopping and we all together had dinner in this place.

It's time around 9:30 pm while visiting this place. We ordered for 2 vegetables rice curry bowl, 2 lassi, 1 corn salad and 5 non veg Rice curry They allow you to customize food as per our convenient like, spicy level, no meat, eggs etc.,

One of well known chain curry shop. This one is rather small but comfortably nested at corner lot near Funabashi Municipal Office. Japanese loves either noodle or this for lunch. 近年は「価格高騰がひどくて客離れが止まらない」と評判が落ちている「CoCo壱番屋カレー」ですが約２年ぶりに食べてみました。GW週末の土曜日開店と同時に入店したが店を出るまで誰も入店者がいなかった。「あれ何でだろう？それほど人気下落は深刻か？」と思ったのは２年前平日に開店直後同じ店に入ってすぐに満席になった記憶があるからです。今回はGWでありサラリーマンがお休みだからじゃないのかって分析しました。２年前は客の半分以上がサラリーマンでしたね。 今回は期間限定メニュー「ささみかつカレー1048円」「サラダとドリンクのセット250円」を注文した。合計1298円は予想してたほど高額ではなかったですね。2年ぶりなので更に価格が上がってるもんだと覚悟してましたから。会計票をパッと目にした時には「全然高くないな」って思った。実際にささみかつカレーを食べてみたら、、、おいしくもないしまずくもない感じ。カレーのうまみの源ともいえる、＜スパイシーな香ばしさ＞に乏しいかも。何か液体を混ぜて必要以上に引き延ばして量を増やしたようなカレールーに感じた（ここが致命的）。何度も言うが決して不味くないのだ。カレーにハズレはなかなかないもんだ。1000円以上でこれじゃー「ぼったくり」と批評されても仕方ないかなと思いました。価格を下げられないのならばカレールーをもっと香ばしいものに改善してほしいですね。や...
