We came here on 7th January 2024 purely by chance thanks to our Daughter finding the resturant in the back streets and away from the very noisy and crowded streets.
Upon entering we were pleasantly suprised as it was nice and quiet and were quickly led to our table.
It was nice to see the menus printed in English so I could choose myself without having to bother the wife, though in the end we both chose the same dish of conger eel and oysters.
The food and drinks came quickly though I was a tiny bit dissapointed the food was abit lukewarm and not very hot, especially as it was a cold day outside. There were a few families inside with us which was nice, and the atmosphere was one of calm.
The food was tasty, especially the oysters and I particuarly enjoyed the drink selection. The kids had cutlet and they enjoyed it. Overall it was nice value for money and we went away feeling full...
Read moreReview update: I had already given this restaurant 5/5 stars without writing anything. However, I needed to circle back to add notes because WOW I am amazed by the customer service.
Let me start by saying the food was delicious. I ordered the fried oyster and buttered oyster plate, which came with tea, a side salad, rice, pickled veggies, and soup.
Now, about the customer service: the man running the place was very kind and efficient. He gave recommendations on seasonings to pair with what meals. About ten minutes after we left, I realized I forgot my gloves! We turned around to retrieve them and it turns out he sent a woman on a bike to find us walking and deliver them to us. Completely above and beyond. I’m so impressed.

Read moreI rarely write bad reviews, but unfortunately, I feel that I have to this time... I experienced food poisoning after eating at this restaurant, specifically from the fish, which was clearly not fresh and left me feeling very sick for the rest of the day.
At first glance, the restaurant seemed promising. It looked nice and had good reviews, which initially gave me confidence in my choice. The food itself tasted good when served, but the fact that the place was empty might explain why the fish wasn’t fresh.
This experience has left me with a negative impression, not just of the restaurant but of the island as well, despite its natural beauty. To add to the disappointment, the island is generally expensive, and dining here cost us...
