Daimyokamon — Restaurant in Hikone

They calculate bill by hand writing. This time they Overcharged my bill, they calculated again and again and finally found they are wrong. But to my surprise they don't say sorry or even feel sorry for this and for waste my time. It's not normal in Japan cuz honest is the most important thing in this country. Maybe foreign guest should be more careful with this restaurant. They also charge 500 yen table fee per person but not listed on bill. For food, BBQ Cod fish is not good, too dry. Clam Soup is too salty. Other is ok, but still too much sweet and...

最初は、宿の方の勧めで、うなぎ屋「源内」に行ったのですが、休みだったので急遽こちらに来ました。

駅前と、店名から、なんとなく嫌な予感はしていましたが、玄宮園のライトアップの後の冷たい雨の降る夜。　他に空いている店がありません。

こちらは、女将さんに食べ方を聞いても、 はい？？？...

2023.3.31訪問 飛び込みで17時半に入店。カウンター席に通されました。地元の方や観光客の予約でいっぱいのようでした。

鰻の蒲焼、鯛のカルパッチョサラダ、近江牛ステーキ、ごはんを注文しました。これにコーラとビール一杯。ステーキめっちゃ美味しいです！おろしポン酢でいただきました♪地元の方も多いようなので、きっと他の料理も美味しいのだと思います。

ただ、どれもめちゃくちゃ量が少なくて驚きました。いくら美味しくてもこの量は寂しい…メニューの写真を見ると一定量はあるように見えるのですが…💦観光地ならではでしょうか？星を一つ減らしました。

子どもと二人で7000円くらい。早々に店を出て二軒目に行きました。お通し390円
