Such a nice place, I only stayed one night in Hikone but I went twice 😆 there are many interesting cookies, I want to try them all! I tried the Earl Grey Orange and Houjicha cookies, and both were so good. The espresso was also good ☕ even better than the cookies is the the friendly and kind owner and staff! The owner is happy to chat and share recommendations. It's very close to Hikone station, so please stop by if you are going towards the castle or returning to the station.

I had a lovely delicious coffee latte here after visiting Hekone Castle. I found it on my walk towards the Rail Station. Two young women were attending and very hospitable. I felt soooo much better after drinking their yummy coffee.

It was pure chance we ended up here. Wow. Lucky us! The 2 girls on duty today were super friendly and welcoming. Of course friendly in a Japanese to customer way but still, we didn’t have the feeling it was fake at all. The cookies we had were delicious. Getting a sip of water was no problem at all. In fact it even came with some ice cubes. Definitely some value and good...
